Future

Hate the times where thoughts come streaming into my mind.
I hate to think of the past cause none that I remember are happy ones.
I hate to think of my childhood cause it brings tears to my eyes.

It's only when I think about the times I spent with my friends,
then I realise at least my past is not that bad at all.

When I think about "why can't it happened like this?" or like that,
I start to think about the countless people who are less fortunate than me,
and how I should already feel contented being nimble in my 4 limbs,
no disabilities, not having to worry about my meals & education.
I can go out with my friends, or even go overseas.

So I'm gonna try to put all those "what ifs" in the past,
and make it happen in the future!

I remember spongebob saying after looking at the world from this perspective,
she realise how small she is and how much more there is to explore.

I'm just 19 and there are still a long life ahead of me.
I won't use my past to predict what I will be in the future,
but use it as a benchmark for what I want to have in the future.

I want to travel.

I wanna go to places that snow
Sit at a cafe and sip on my hot coffee while I enjoy the scenery,
looking at people passing by, tourists taking photos, pigeons flying past.
Look at a beautiful scenery in peace while the wind blows gently on my face
Waking up to the birds chirping and the sun rays slipping through the cracks from the curtains,
shining into the room.
And being welcomed by a beautiful view when I opened the windows.
This is the kinda life I'm looking forward to.
Just imagining it makes me feel overwhelmed.

Find my life-long partner.
I don't expect much really.
I just hope he's 脾气好,心地好,对我好
and 有上进心
lol
Someone I can talk to, travel with, and laugh with.

Last but not least, have a home

Doesn't have to be grand, or huge.
All I hope is to have a cozy place with my loved ones.
Like what they say, the home is where the family is.

Was feeling kinda down from some random thoughts,
but writing this post make me feel better. haha!
especially the travel part.
No words or pictures can describe the feeling except experiencing it myself.

Let's all work hard to our desired beautiful future! ^-^

Love,
Memories
